UPCOMING EVENTS: JUNE - JULY 2007
From the 11th June we will be taking customers business cards for a prize draw worth £250.00 to spend in the pub. the draw will take place on the week commencing the 9th July.
On the 28th June we will be holding an anti smoking themed night in preparation for the national smoking ban. The night will include all sorts of anti smoking ideas and info, including an in house hypnotherapist who will be going around the pub chatting to customers.

A VERY FINE DAY OUT
From the Sherlock Holmes you walk down to the Embankment where you can catch the River Boat to Greenwich .
Greenwich has a number of markets, in door and our door and of course The Cutty Sark and The Maritime Museum .
When you have had enough of Greenwich , look for a small domed buiding, close to The Cutty Sark, this is the elevator shaft down into the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.
The Foot Tunnel runs under the River Thames and leads to the Isle of Dogs. Walk through the tunnel and exit into the Island Gardens .
From here you can catch the Docklands Light Railway to Tower Gateway. From there you can see the Tower Of London, Tower Bridge etc.
Then you can catch the tube at Tower Hill, returning to Embankment Station, which is a short walk from Sherlock Holmes.
