We have a lovely function room used for meetings, wedding receptions and birthdays it can also double as a Skittle Alley if required.


 
We can cater for any occasion, up to 60 people for dinner or 100 for a buffet with a menu selection to suit all budgets. We have seven 4* hotel rooms to offer, including our famous luxury suite with Four Poster bed.

 
We cater for functions in the restaurant area which is suitable for private parties, christenings, wedding receptions etc. Also, private garden parties which can include BBQs, Hog Roasts etc.
 

Here at the Ship Inn we want you to enjoy that special occasion whether it is a birthday or your wedding day, John, Rita and their team will do their very best to ensure your day runs smoothly while you sit back and relax.
For larger parties we can provide you with our upper deck restaurant area. Maximum numbers for a sit-down meal are 60. For our buffet menus we require a minimum of 40 people and can cater for a maximum of 100.
We do not charge for room hire, prices are based on food. Please call for a sample menu.
Our chefs are flexible with menu choices and will be happy to discuss any requestes you may have.

The “Upper Deck” of the Bridge Tavern is available for private hire for any occasion– whether it’s an informal meeting with colleagues or a special event.
The Bridge Tavern is a popular venue for many occasions such as weddings, birthdays, retirement parties or Christmas parties as we are located in historic Old Portsmouth directly on the Camber Dock Quay. The “Upper Deck” is fantastic for your guests. They can see great views overlooking the quay, fishing & tugboats below.

Bar~Risa / Jongleurs consists of 3 rooms, each of which cater for different size parties and can be hired collectively or as a whole.
Our VIP area is ideal for parties of up to 200 people, has it's own private bar and covered smoking balcony. Buffets and BBQs can also be catered for.
The main bar are is great for parties of up to 350 people. Full dinners, buffets and BBQs can all be catered for. There is a large partly covered smoking terrace, outdoor dining areas and full DJ facilities.
The club room is great for the larger functions including comedy, club and band nights. Complete dining and bar faclilties are available.
 
The Customs House can offer a number of diverse styles to suit you. We are able to cater for weddings receptions, private luncheons, buffets, formal or informal dinners or just a relaxed meeting with coffee.
We have available, facilities for business seminars, presentations, sales and training conferences.
Whether it is a formal seating arrangement or a theatre style presentation, we are able to help. Facilities include Over Head Projectors (OHP), Flip charts, TV and Video unit, and data projector and screen, suitable for laptop presentations.

2 Function Rooms for Hire with a maximum capacity of 100 in each or can be hired as one room for 200 people. Very resonably priced. Incorporates a Plasma screen for sporting events and presentations.
 

We do not have a function room as such, but what we do have is a room available for buffets(for up to 40 people), or sit down meal for table of upto 28.
We do have other small rooms too. During summer we also do at request Hog Roasts and BBQ's which we can then open our patio doors to the garden.
 

We have one function room that is able to cater for many different occassions, from Birthday Parties, Wedding receptions, Christenings through to training or conferences. We can cater for nearly every type of get together you may require
