What was the old public bar (now the Thai restaurant) can now be hired out for small functions and private parties.
The room will be serviced by the main bar, however a bottle bar can be utilised.
Catering is optional, however, if included the hire fee can be negotiated.

Our lovely upstairs bar is available for private hire on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, plus any daytimes through the week. We have two plasma screens upstairs, so the space is ideal to hire for a specific sporting event or for corporate meetings or quiz nights. With the hire of the room comes a staffed bar plus use of our PA and our decks, if required. The room can be decorated to suit your needs and we have a great choice of buffets


Though we don't have a seperate function area we do allow groups to reserve areas of our pub. This can also include our heated private garden. It is on an individual basis so we would ask anyone to please contact the pub to speak with the manager(s) for a more detailed explaination of our facilities


We have 2 upstairs function rooms. The larger room for upto 80 people has its own bar and is ideal for birthday parties, wedding receptions, leaving do's etc.
The small room will accommodate 20 people and is ideal for more personal gatherings and business meetings

We have a function room upstairs that can accommodate a party of 50 people, or 26 seated. We can provide full catering, be it a buffet or a three course meal. Choose a tailor made menu to suit your budget and taste. There is also a private bar in the room if requested at the time of booking.
There is a 42” plasma tv on the wall ideal for Powerpoint presentations, watching non-satellite sport, dvd viewing, even Karaoke nights! Darts and quizzes available.There is also a stereo.
Please call to discuss your requirements. The room has recently been used for wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate meetings, club nights and Christmas parties.


Although we are a single roomed building we do have certain areas of the pub which you can reserve. In fact if it is a very special occasion we might even hire the whole pub out to you! If you want to meet up with 4 or 5 friends for drinks on a Friday night or have a sit down meal for 40 people we can arrange this for you


We have catered for a wide range of parties that have all been a success, as we are a pub rates are negotiatable upon request.
We have many little alcoves around the pub that we can usually section off for the functions we hold, we can take care of entertainment for you if you wish and organise the decorations too. We are popular for corporate lunch parties and weenkend birthday parties, but are open to cater for anyones needs.


Here at the Hand and Flower we have many diverse areas for hire all free of charge. Our Garden has to be seen to be belived with seating for up to 150 people. Our Restaurant can sit 60 for a sit down or 100 for a less formal function. We also have a lounge and bar area all of which are available .

Kingston Upon Thames

Upstairs lounge bar, comfortable and spacious environment with the best views of the River & Kingston Bridge. This room is bright and breezy through the day, but cozy and candlelit by night.

Having it’s own bar and toilet facilities make it a great venue for any occasion. We have buffet menu available for you to choose from or you can tell us what you want and we will build a menu to suit your requirements


The Ravensbury is available for functions, we cater for everything and anything from Birthday parties, Weddings, First Communions, Engagement Parties, Christenings, Wakes. We work with each individual guest to build an itinerary to fit their individual needs. No two functions are the same. We can cater for groups up to 120 in our restaurant but depending on what day the function is to take place we can cater for larger groups.

New Malden

Even though the glasshouse doesn't have a separate function room due to the shape of the establishment, areas at the bar or in the restaurant can be hired for lunches, afternoons and evenings. We cater for all shape and size, from gathering for drinks to buffet and sit-down meals and private BBQ in the summer.


The Bear Oxshott has been redeveloped in recent years into a relaxed friendly pub with great food. With a separate function area for 40 people & adjoining dining room which also holds 40 covers, the bear can now cater for formal parties of 80 people & informal buffet style parties of up to 300 people. With B.B.Q.s being very popular in our separate Garden area, Great Car parking facilities, Disabled access, 80 cover function capacity, comfortable lounge area, alfresco decking & relaxed Bar, the Bear offers something for everybody. Powerpoint presentations can be held in our function/party room. Xmas menus are now ready & great early Christmas booking incentives are in place. Wine offers help set your Xmas Function of to a great start, with a fantastic Christmas Party booking incentive when combining our canape & Buffet package. In addition every party booking Organisor of groups of 20 or more will receive a bottle of bubbly on the house!!

The White Swan has an upstairs Private Restaurant that has it's own bar and can cater for 32 seated and around 40 standing for a Buffet.

With LIVE performances on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (NOW WITH OPEN MIC NIGHT), the venue showcases a great range of performers and has a variety of events lined up in the calendar.
