We cater for functions in the restaurant area which is suitable for private parties, christenings, wedding receptions etc. Also, private garden parties which can include BBQs, Hog Roasts etc.

       

Dining room: seating for approx. 40-50 people, standing approx. 70-100 Snug area: seating for aprrox. 20 people, standing approx. 30 people.

       

1st floor function room with it's own bar with a capacity for 30 people seated or standing 50. Plasma screen available.
Ideal for meetings, birthday parties, leaving parties, sporting events etc.

       

Our Function Room charge is £75 and is great for evening parties, charity events and dining. For drinking gatherings we can hold comfortably 60 people and for sit down dining 40 people.

The room also has a music system and a screen and projector, perfect for conferences, meetings and training classes. As the room is in an out house away from the pub itself you also have the use of the garden in the summer which can also be reserved. In the function room from time to time we also hold beer and food evenings and whiskey tasting so for more information contact the pub.

Most of what exists now was built around 1910, but the pub dates back to 1733. Dickens referred to it in A Tale of Two Cities. 6 real ales are always available in this charming central London pub along with a great food menu and comfortable surroundings.
