It's close to one of the oldest parts of London. The 'Borough', well-known to Shakespeare and Dickens. The Mad Hatter is perfectly placed if you have business in the City of London, a half-mild taxi ride takes you straight there. For the leisure traveller there's a lot more to see and do closer to hand. Tate Modern, London's new world-class museum of modern art is a few minutes away. Beyond there is Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the National and, of course, the London Eye. Covent Garden and the Strand are only about a mile or so further on. The fullers Ale and Pie House on the ground floor of The Mad Hatter is a welcoming London Pub, and an ideal place to meet and greet friends and colleagues for lunch, an informal evening meal, or just a drink. The food's home-cooked, the drinks are Fuller's what more could you ask? The Mad Hatter really is an excellent London base, and at its astonishingly reasonable prices, you'll find your yourself returning again and again |
