Dear Perry & Linda As part of Youngs, we are encouraged to be on as many websites as possible/feasible. City Pub Life is the most user friendly – as a publican and as a customer. The other websites don't enable the customer to email the pub direct when they are on that page, nor do they give the customer the option of all the suitable pubs answering their requirements. I really think this is a vital component of a website – there is a lot of competition out there and even if my pub isn't suitable one time, the simplicity and speed of access, and ease of reply makes CPL my favourite. Also, I appreciate the fact that you constantly look to improve and upgrade to make customer and publican lives easier and faster – who has spare time nowadays?! Regards, |
I would like to thank you guys for all the help and support you've given us over the last two years and from my staff who have bee using the site as well. We have received a lot of business through the website, a lot has been private functions, quite a lot through our theme nights and sports nights organised. Myself, not being very good with computers, dreaded the thought of updating the site every week but with your help and reassurance I have managed to succeed in using it. You are always on the phone to help whether its a quick 5 mins or a long hour! and the way that you explain things is really good, you genuinely want us to learn how to use it for the benefit of ourselves.Nothing ever seems to much for you guys. Just to give you some feedback, which people like us tend not to do very often unless something goes wrong! It feels like time to say that The Stag has benefited hugely from featuring on Citypublife website. It reaches people we would otherwise not be able to find or they us; gives out to potential customers all the info. they need re. what we offer before they have to make contact with us for finer details and has therefore added to our customer base, most specifically for functions and special events. It also saves us time and money on marketing and advertising, and your personal reminders keep us up to date with events we might otherwise forget to deal with - so thanks for all your imput over the years - we do value you! Just to let you know that we've had loads of enquiries since joining your website. Although not all leads turn into a booking we have seen certainly seen an increase in new faces coming into the wine bar that have not been here before and I suspect it has something to do with the fact that some of those people are visiting after having received details of our venue through your website. I also think that the images which you took and put onto the website look amazing! I also like the fact you keep us up to date with what's going on – ie major sporting events, St.Patrick's Day, St.George's day etc – and the fact that you prompt us into updating the website on a regular basis which is so important. If you didn't, you know it probably wouldn't get done what with so many other things that licensees have to deal with! There's nothing worse than going onto a website and finding that it's weeks out of date. | Citypublife and Function Rooms UK are the biggest contributors to my extra function room business. I would highly recommend the service as the most targeted advertisement possible. People who use the website are looking to spend money, every single one of them!!! Having looked through my diary for the last 6 months, I can see 15 different functions that were definitely booked via citypublife. There may be many more (I sometimes forget to ask where they found out about the pub). This service is the best value marketing money I have ever spent in all my years running London Pubs. Dear Perry & Linda, The choice of pictures that you put on the St Pats Day page were excellent as was the wording on the advert. Thank you also for passing the information to “London Metro” they published an article On their daily paper two days before which really helped to put us on the map also. I would estimate about 50% of our custom on the day was as a direct result of your website ,we have also had many of those new customers return in the couple of weeks since and your website has definitely helped to increase overall awareness of Hennessy's here in the City of London.
