VALENTINE MENU 2008 The white swan valentine'S day menu 2008 Valentine's aperitifs French 75 Passion Mimosa Asparagus soup, sun dried tomato croutons, crème fraîche Pan fried foie gras, confit potato, apple and pear compote, sauternes jus Oysters with smoked salmon cream sauce (1/2 a dozen or a dozen for 2) Ravioli of langoustine and salmon poached in shellfish bisque, pea purée ~ Chateaubriand, wild mushroom gratin, fondant potatoes, Madeira jus (for 2 to share) Pan fried duck breast, honey swede purée, chicory tart and roasted cep Fillet of John Dory, tiger prawn, pumpkin purée and pumpkin gnocchi Cannelloni of goats cheese and walnuts, cherry tomato fondue, rocket pesto ~ Valrhona chocolate tort, vanilla ice cream Strawberry and vanilla cheesecake with raspberry compote Pecan and banana pudding, chocolate ice cream Rhubarb crumble with custard ~ Coffee/tea and petit fours 45 per person (inc VAT).
